Seasons Greetings

Dear friends:
While we are preparing to celebrate the birth of Jesus, we have some good news to share with you in this newsletter too:

- In order to sustain our future growth, Chinese Lay Missionaries has officially become the "Catholic Chinese Lay Missionary Foundation."
- The newest Hsinchu Evangelism Center, which started nine months ago, has already turned Kuan-si from a spiritually rocky desert to be more like an oasis.
- Bishop Hong at the Archdiocese of Taipei recognized six parishes that had the highest number of baptisms during the eighteen-month celebration of the Catholic Church's 150 years in Taiwan. Our evangelist Jr-syung Hsu has ministered at two of these six parishes, and one of them is ranked second.
- Evangelist Tosca Yin continues her outstanding ministry at parishes and hospitals. Two of the parishes in which she has ministered were among the six recognized parishes. On top of that, she is now expanding the young adult evangelism programs too.
- Evangelist Grace Huang, who was transferred to Taichung Evangelism Center in February, is expecting a total of 40 baptisms by the end of this year. This number does not include the baptisms at Luchou this year, before she was transferred to Taichung.

We started a new bilingual blog: http://chineselayevangelist.blogspot.com earlier this year and now has world-wide viewers. Please feel free to subscribe and leave comments. We plan to have new blog posts every month.

Thank you for your generous support in the past. We have 13 lay evangelists now and will grow to 18 in the next fiscal year. We again need your continuous financial support, and please also pray for all the evangelists and their ministries. Your support and encouragement bring us the strength to walk on the journey of evangelism and allow more people to experience the joy of the conversion to Jesus!

May the Lord bestow His blessings on you and your loved ones!

Sincerely,

Yvonne Chow
